In this video, the AELLCO team replaces the compressor in the outdoor unit of a Goodman central air conditioning system on Guam.
The outdoor unit was located on a second-floor balcony with access only by stairs, which made the job more challenging. This was a standard compressor replacement, but it still required careful handling, proper refrigerant circuit service, and full startup procedures.
As part of the repair, we replaced the failed compressor and the filter drier, pressure-tested the system with nitrogen, pulled a vacuum, and then started and checked the system to make sure it was operating correctly.
