Unfinished Business: Baby Algorithms
The cybergods heard my cries. Over the past 11 years my old av system helped me create hundreds of pieces for my YouTube channel. The heart of that system, a 2009 iMac, finally spun itself to death. It happened to die just before the plague entered our world. To revive my old friend I hired 4 different tech firms who were happy to waste my time and take my money while failing to improve the health of my old friend so I mourned it for a few months then let it go. What I have now is an av system composed of many old organs and a new heart. I'm more than happy to dive back into my old world of cultivating baby algorithms. It's uses a digital system but conceptually it's based on the analog music synthesizers like the old Moogs and Buchlas from the 1960s. My work is like Italian opera, mostly dramatic and occasionally bel canto.
