US actor, Forest Whitaker helps to uplift young people in the Western Cape
A new basketball court at the Bridgetown Sports Complex in Athlone is expected to uplift young people and steer them in a positive direction. The Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative, driven by the award-winning American actor, producer and philanthropist, Forest Whitaker, officially opened the sports court in collaboration with NBA Africa and the City of Cape Town.
