Hi everyone, and welcome to this demo on how to pause a token’s activity, in 3 easy steps. Bitbond Token Tool enables you to easily configure and create smart contracts without any coding.
Step 1:
First, go to tokentool.bitbond.com and click on the "Connect Wallet" button. Select your designated wallet blockchain network.
Step 2:
In the sidebar, go to “Manage Token” and choose a token from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, paste the contract address. Then click continue.
Step 3:
Pausing is only possible if the feature was activated upon token creation.
Select “pause”.
To pause the token, switch the toggle to active.
Next, click “submit” and confirm the transaction to pay fees in your wallet.
Pausing your token’s activity can be useful in a number of situations, such as if you find a security vulnerability or if you need to temporarily halt trading activity.
