from Capriccio on the Departure of a Most Beloved Brother, BWV 992 (1704) This is one of Bach's earlier works, often thought to be written while he was a teenager, on the advent of his older brother leaving for Sweden to be a court musician. Inserting whichever beloved person has departed from your life, it is a touching lament.
