Project Satellite: Augmented Reality in Data Center Operations
This is a fresh demo of project Satellite, Augmented Reality in Data Center Operations.
This was recorded by a group of female undergraduate students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University - University of Michigan Joint Institute (SJTU-UM JI), in Capstone program, funded by VMware.
The idea is to provided an AR app atop smart phones and pads to data center on-site technicians, to help me conduct local duties, like trouble shooting, asset auditing, remote supporting etc.
The backend data come from a Facility/IT converged data platform, Flowgate, OSS project provided by VMware. https://github.com/vmware/flowgate
