Looks like the times are changing! What was once normal to see GP7/GP9 lashups have now been replaced with GP38-2's. #2733 - the newest of the GP38-2's to join the RVSC family - is seen here pulling a mixed freight towards Harlingen with #5275 & #5579 in tow. And what more can you ask for by getting 3 things on one train: a Leslie RS5T, an ARMN reefer & a UP Opera-Centerbeam Flatcar at the rear!
Now that I think of it, #5579 is the only GP38-2 that started out as a GP38 then rebuilt to -2 specs. The rest are all straight GP38-2's.
