Veranda Garden Question
I'm reusing the posting soil in my veranda Garden pots. the weeds that grew over the winter have put a lot of roots into the soil. I've removed as much of the roots as I can, and I've covered the surface of the soil with black plastic and some soil on the plastic so it does not blow away. will the extra roots I did not get out compost in place, or should I dig all the roots out?
I'm thinking I should revitalize the old soil by adding some new potting soil.
I guess I should dig everything out of the containers and mix it up.
advice from gardeners would be appreciated.
