Our Freezer Died
The freezer in the liquor shop decided to die, at 11:30PM on a Saturday night.
There is a relay that needs replacement, we cleaned the contacts on it once and it has run for a few months, but now it needs replacing. We got the part for about $20, and it should fix the problem. We got very lucky as an older repair guy came by to look at it, he is 96 years old and knows these old machines. Other shops said, "Can't fix it, but we will sell you a new one". The old hand knew what was wrong, a $20 part, and told me to order it and replace it myself, (which is what I'm doing now), he also filed the bad contact point to make the old relay work again, to get us going.
Old school fix-it guy, not a buy new buy new guy.
