Windfall whilst hunting for a Machinist
I was calling around to get the hard copper disk cut and one gentleman gave me some copper and some radio electronics he had sitting around.
Then he dug out some old analog meters and boxes and I came home with more test gear and materials. But at $180 an hour for Laser cutting I'm still waiting on two other estimates.
