MOKI TR8 ,year 1974 ..another resurection story....from a sad bone engine.
I was too bussy with a lot things,so there was not a lot time to make any new clips...even I have a lot new material on my PC....Some REALLY RARE engines!
So I thought..I should drop at least one..here you go....
It is a rebuild for a another great guy I meet online..and as most of you,I never meet you guys..
...but soon..I will get a visit from Poland!...and Poland have also some VERY nice engines...soon on this channel...so watch out for it!
The TR8 had a ( Russian Marz 8x6) prop on it, and the petroleum content was aprox. 45%. with 25 ether and 30 castor oil.
The engine will increase power out put after several runs. On a 7x6 with 55% petroleum it will be very fast and reach its +/- max. rpm. This was the second run,so I had to hold the revs down..But it show for sure its potential.
This engine goes to Australia,my good mate and combat flyer Ken.who LOVES fast diesels!..So I hope,he will be happy with it..Thanks a lot to Helmut /Germany, who make this
rebuild also possible...as well the other GREAT gems he offer me. :-)
