Commissioner in Action - Restructuring plan put to the test
No matter where I am, energy saving is always a topic of discussion. This was also the case when I visited friends in the Bergisches Land region. They told me about their plans to make their house heat pump-compatible and had even had a customized renovation schedule drawn up for this purpose.
But the results of the iSFP immediately made me suspicious. According to the schedule, all components (roof, exterior walls, basement ceiling, windows) were to be demolished. More or less everything was to be replaced. Estimated cost: over €200,000.
