Jaco Pastorius - Triads (With Notation and Tab)
I picked this exercise up from the Jaco Pastorius bass method book. The triads follow the harmony within the key of G Major. The first shape is Root - Fifth- Third. The second is Third - Root - Fifth. I have found this exercise to be very helpful with soloing, writing melodic basslines and composing harmony from the bass guitar.
I recommend putting this video into https://www.tunetranscriber.com/, a great free website that makes it easy to loop sections and slow the tempo down! You can also adjust the tempo in setting section on the youtube tool bar.
