Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m), famous for dangerously erratic weather. January 28th, 2012 - a smooth cool westerly airflow made for stable conditions over the mountain and even in the lee there was virtually no turbulence making for a great flight!
