NEW YORK, September 5, 2024 — Asia Society, in collaboration with Fempowerment Foundation, presents “Threads of Sustainability: Fashion, Ethics, Traditions and the Environment”, which features a panel discussion on sustainability, fashion, and the role of artisans and designers, followed by a fashion show. The discussion includes Carmen Artigas, climate-positive fashion consultant and biocultural researcher; Sandy Dalal, creative and management consultant, entrepreneur, investor, and designer; and Ajay Shrivastav, creative director of Gingerblu and co-founder of Fempowerment Foundation.
