NEW DELHI, April 5, 2023 — In collaboration with the India International Center, the Asia Society Policy Institute in India hosts a panel discussion exploring the possible ways for India and Japan, respectively the chair of this year’s G-20 summit and the host for the annual G-7 summit, to collaborate in mitigating the expansive threats facing the Global South. Speakers include Amb. Mohan Kumar, professor and dean at the International Affairs and Global Initiatives of OP Jindal University; Dr. Sanjaya Baru, economist, author, and former adviser to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh; and Prof. C. Raja Mohan, senior fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute. Former Indian Ambassador to Japan Amb. Deepa Wadhwa moderated the discussion. (1 hr., 20 min.)
