Despite replacing the xenon or halogen bulbs, you still have poor / weak light on your car? In this video we highlight the possible causes, compare the difference between worn, old and new headlights and show you what you can do about it.
Since this problem exists for div. brands and Ford models like Ford Focus Mk2, Ford Fiesta Mk7, Ford Mondeo Mk3/4/5, Ford C-Max Mk1/2, Ford S-Max Mk1/2, etc. as well as lamp types like Xenon, bend lighting and halogen bulbs, the filming of a universal repair instruction for the exchange of single parts was not feasible. Most of the headlights are now glued, which makes e.g. the exchange of the cover lens difficult.
If you have general or repair questions about your model, just write them in the comments.
The difference should surprise you ...
The xenon headlights shown in the video are from a 12 year old Ford Focus Mk2 FL (DA3/DB3, 08-10) with 250,000 km mileage (garage car).
