Street Children in Romania
(May 2006) Mihai is 14 and has been working on the street begging and washing windows since he was five. Nelu is 13 and makes bricks alongside his family. According to a new Global Report on child labour from the International Labour Organization, Romania and its neighbouring countries have the highest incidence of child labour in Europe.

(Mai 2006) Mihai a 14 ans et travaille depuis l'âge de 5 ans dans la rue, comme mendiant et laveur de pare-brise. Nelu a 13 ans et fait des briques comme le reste de sa famille. Selon un récent rapport mondial de l'Organisation internationale du Travail sur le travail des enfants, la Roumaine et ses pays voisins ont l'incidence de travail des enfants la plus élevée d'Europe.
