Casual EDC - March 2014
Just figured I'd give an update on my typical everyday EDC for weekends and whenever I'm not in my work uniform. For anyone wondering what's what, in case it's not clear in the audio, the items are:
Front-left pocket - Cold Steel AK47 and generic coin purse
Front-right pocket - vehicle/house keys (and a spare handcuff key, for work) and a no-name Chinese high-output flashlight that uses a single AA battery (around $5 on eBay or Amazon);
Right-rear pocket - Alumawallet (shut up, it keeps my cards from getting bent and ruining the magnetic strips);
Left-rear pocket - Thin leather wallet with cash and a crap-ton of cards for various stores (Bass Pro, Autozone, Fry's, etc.);
10:00 OWB - NiteIze cell phone holster with cell phone;
9:00 OWB - Safariland 123 horizontal magazine holster;
1:30 IWB - Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm with Pearce Grips magazine base extension, carried in a Remora with Sweat Shield option;
11:00 IWB - Cold Steel Inferno pepper spray/foam, carried in a standard Remora sized for a Taurus Judge Public Defender (keeps the canister oriented in the direction you want it and keeps it from poking you in the stomach).
