Why Rome Abandoned Britain | 8-Bit Explained
Thanks for watching! This video was supposed to come out around 3 weeks before it actually did, but I ran into a whole lot of production issues along the way. Surprisingly, there wasn't a whole lot of information on this topic on YouTube or other major sources, so I ended up going down several rabbit holes in my search for this particular story. Then, once I'd finally gathered all my research, it was really difficult to write an engaging script around such a complex topic. Suffice to say, it took a lot longer than expected, but I'm super happy with how it came out!
I got a lot of great feedback on the new art style for the last video, so I hope everyone continues to like it. I will definitely make more videos in this style in the future, but if this one is any indication, it'll probably take a while.

I would also highly recommend this series of lectures by the Great Courses Plus entitled "The Story of Medieval England From King Arthur to the Tutor Conquest" The first couple chapters of which really helped me get a general sense of this topic.
