Emsculpt was originally designed to help people contour the body by providing a muscular exercise machine that uses an electromagnetic field to contract muscles. Just one 20-30 minutes session can produce up to 20,000 repetitions of muscle contraction.
At ADR, we utilize this technology to help our patients both pre-op and post-op. Before the surgery, our surgeons may recommend using Emsculpt to strengthen the muscles because the stronger you are going into surgery, the faster your recovery is. Post-op, Emsculpt can be used again on the abs, back, core, gluteal area, or low back to speed up recovery.
