Bring Me Low was originally released on Jan 1, 2020 at 12:00AM (UTC+14:00), and it is officially the first album released on Earth this decade, and now is released worldwide for streaming during May, which is global Mental Health Awareness Month.

The music was written by Ward together with Ryan Dietzenbach, Chris Gongora and Mauricio Munguia. The songs in this album concern mental illness, depression and the lives of independent musicians. 73% of independent musicians and 1 in 5 Americans live with some form of mental illness. All proceeds from this album will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
