How to measure the distance between two points in Google Maps (Not Google Earth)

Steps:
1. Set to Google Earth view.
2. Identify TM Tebedu & Serian (roundabout) on maps.
3. Set the starting point. Then set the destination.
4. Drag the point to change the route.
5. Change to maps view if better print out needed.
6. Print screen to copy to MS Excel.
