Shonen main characters always have boring powers. Naruto from Naruto, Luffy from Once Piece, Goku from Dragonball, Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen, Gon from Hunter x Hunter, Deku from My Hero Academia, Ichigo from Bleach, and many others have far more simplistic and less diverse powers than other characters from their universes.
