Unheard Stories Presents Dr. Saleh M. Nsouli: 10/30/2021
Dr. Saleh M. Nsouli is a renowned international economist who served as the Director of the International Monetary Fund's Offices in Europe and held numerous senior positions at the IMF for over 37 years.
Dr. Nsouli has worked on & led Fund consultation missions and negotiated reform and adjustment programs with numerous countries.
Dr. Nsouli taught economics at Vanderbilt University in the US and has lectured widely across the world. He published several books and academic articles.
Our next event is about the American Children of Lebanese Immigrants. We will hear from a panel of American-born young men and women with Lebanese parents on how they adapt to life in the US, fare academically and behaviorally, and contribute richness to their American communities. The panel includes different backgrounds and interests and will shed light on the unique identity of a generation whose members are continuously learning how to reconcile their inherited culture with the American ways of life.

Dr. Hassanieh earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California (USC). She is a scientist in the field of Angiogenesis and has several publications in scientific books & journals. She wrote her novel "Where Will My Heart Beat?" to spark the conversation about the mystery of the human experience.
