Guest speaker: Dr. George Kikano, Vice President for Health Affairs & Dean of the College of Medicine at the Central Michigan University (CMU).
Dr. Kikano was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of ECFMG & FAIMER. He will share with us his story in the fields of medicine & health care and the change he is spearheading as an executive, educator, physician and a community leader. His community outreach programs are creating tens of job opportunities across medicine and many scientific disciplines.
Our guest for the month of May is Dalton Einhorn.
Dalton Einhorn is the editor of an ongoing series of books emerging from the largest known collection of unpublished Gibran Kahlil Gibran materials in the world: The Mary Elizabeth Haskell Minis Papers at the University of North Carolina.
Mr. Einhorn will unveil the unknown real story behind the creation of the twentieth century best selling book, "The Prophet," and Gibran's relationship with Mary Haskell. He will share with us the reason he obtained an exclusive license to publish from never before seen materials pertaining to Gibran. His book, "And The Prophet Said," was released in 2020 and contains over 150 newly discovered poems, aphorisms, and epigrams.
In 2023, Mr. Einhorn will be publishing "The Birth of the Prophet," Gibran and Mary's creation story in their words, just in time for the Centennial Anniversary of the masterpiece. His book "Kahlil Gibran’s Book of Lebanon and Syria" will be available later this year.

Dr. Hassanieh earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California (USC). She is a scientist in the field of Angiogenesis and has several publications in scientific books & journals. She wrote her novel "Where Will My Heart Beat?" to spark the conversation about the mystery of the human experience.
