Introducing: The New and Improved Gilbert PD Dispatch Center 🚔📞
The Gilbert Police Department has taken significant steps to enhance the public safety needs of our community with its new state-of-the-art 911 Communications Center.
In a two-phase expansion, we’ve doubled the center’s size and equipped our dedicated dispatchers with 19 new consoles, upgraded radio dispatch systems, and the latest in AV management. These upgrades mean faster response times and seamless communication for voice, photos, videos, and text messages from the public to our 9-1-1 network.
This project focused on employee retention and wellness, with the addition of a fitness room, a parents’ room for Gilbert’s “baby at work” program, a quiet space for decompression, and training consoles for new team members to ensure our callers continue to receive the highest level of services when calling 9-1-1.
