Robstown people don't really care do they? Aside from this crossing, the one following it had people driving thru the gates as if it was just another train-less day!
I spent a few hours just in front Tower 197 to watch the trains go by. The KCS dispatcher had his hands full sending as many trains south to Laredo. This was the only time I saw the M-OLEW sprint north as the next one was waiting in Kingsville past 17:45. You can hear it slam the diamonds once the engine passes.
*listed as EC45DC because it has been rebuilt with components from CEECO somewhere in 2009. Still looks like another ES44AC. Go figure.
