Civil Disobedience Blockades Fracking in Texas
Denton citizens deploying civil disobedience tactics to blockade a new fracking site after they became the first city in Texas to ban hydrauilc fracturing by a popular vote. Their vote was nullified when a new law written by the oil and gas industry, House Bill 40, made any such bans illegal all over Texas.
