Woohoo, I'm part of the Elektron club! Thanks in no small part to @IvarTryti and @RedMeansRecording and their fantastic Digitakt tracks. I've always wanted a sampler, and the Digitakt seemed like a robust hardware option in a groovebox format. The first few days with it have been awesome. The workflow can be a bit obtuse, but I'm slowly picking it up and getting some muscle memory for the shortcuts and secondary functions.
I love messing up parameters across all tracks by holding TRK and moving the encoders. It's a great way to create an entirely different sound from an already existing pattern. There are also so many destinations for the LFO, and I especially like ones like sample slot and start time. I just really enjoy samplers because of the limitless sonic possibilities they offer, especially when you can internally resample the Digitakt to mess up sounds as much as you want!
This is one of the first few patterns I put together. I'm still trying to learn the best workflow for expanding a pattern I like into a full track. I'm also still a little shaky on live performance with the Digitakt, so I just copy the same pattern over multiple slots and utilize pattern mutes so I can go sequentially from one pattern to the next without worrying about mutes.
I recorded audio over USB into Overbridge, then mastered in Ozone Elements 8.
