Hey everyone, Steve Toth at SEO Notebook here, and today’s note is going to show you how to use the Google Ads Audience Manager to get information about the sites you want to target for outreach and backlinks.
This is an EASY way to get outreach placements for SEO using Google ads tools, for free.
How do I use Google Ads Audience Manager to generate backlink ideas?
Let’s say that you’re outreaching to a site owner and your blogger outreach is being ignored. Site owners like it when you’ve done your research, so wouldn’t they be blown away if you could quote statistics about THEIR SITE straight from Google?
This outreach strategy shows them that you understand their readership and demographics based on their age, gender and parental status and have done their research - you’re not just asking for a guest post without doing your research. If I were a site owner, I would be super impressed by someone who has gone to that level of research. Once you have the Google Ads account set up, it’s really not hard to do.
