Boot speed - Samsung Series 9 NP900X3B
This is a live boot, shutdown, and internet connection demo.
This is running the stock Samsung PM830 128gb SSD and the default Win7 Home Premium that came with the notebook. Runningn conditions: Notebook has had about a months worth of data written on it, a few (but not all) bloatware removed, some new programs installed, still has all default partitions that came with the notebook, no fresh win7 install, and OS settings untweaked. WiFi was set to automatically connect to a public library internet connection.
It was turned on from a cold boot, once windows loads past the welcome screen, it'll connect to the internet within a second or two, essentially ready to surf the internet after the windows-loaded sound. Browser was ready to be surfed by ~18 seconds after power button pressed. Fully shutdown back to the off-state took took roughly 10 seconds
