Making Jute Rope for Bushcraft and Camping
Hi Guys,
Today I'm making some jute rope cordage by braiding strands of garden twine into a single rope
Thickness of the finished rope is dependant on how many strands you braid, I'm using 6 strands in this instance
Rotate all the strands, half in each hand, in the same direction by rolling them between your index fingers and thumbs until they form two cords which then intertwine to make one thicker cord.
Be sure to make your strands longer than you want your final rope by about 20% as by braiding the strands they're shortened
