My Shop Assist Quickbooks Desktop integration
In this video we explain how to setup your shop to work with Quickbooks desktop for accounting. We walk through the steps of setting up the Quickbooks Webconnector which is the tool that enables us to send data back and forth with your Quickbooks file. Once the web connector is working for new shops, the next step is configuring the accounts that your parts and services as wells payments go to. Once everything is setup and synced, you can then export jobs and payments into quickbooks .
For existing MSA shops using Quickbooks Desktop, the update on 5/4/2024 will require you to re-assign the accounts tasks and parts are linked to. follow 2:05 to 4:08 for those steps.
