My Shop Assist Jotform Integration for website forms
In this video we show you how to add a custom form to your website for your customers to fill out and submit directly into your My Shop Assist jobs page. We have added the integration with Jotform, a website for creating custom forms, directly into MSA. We walk you through how to create that form, the important things to add to the form, and how to setup the form to connect to MSA. Next, we show you how easy it is to add that form to your website (in our example we use a Shopify store). From there, we show you had the completed form automatically creates an estimate with the customers information already populated into their profile within MSA.
Field names to use (Jotform fieldname - MSA field it populates) (*means its a required field for MSA, and you should make it a required field in Jotform):
Name - Customers first and last name*
Company - Customers company name
Phone - Customers phone number*
Email - Customers email address*
Address - Customers Mailing address
Year - the vehicle year
Make - the vehicle make
Model - the vehicle model
Trim - the vehicle trim
vehicleColor - the vehicle color
vehicleVIN - the vehicle VIN. MSA will try to match the VIN to an existing vehicle, if there is no match, it will create a new vehicle.
vehiclePlate - vehicle License Plate
vehicleOdometer - Job Odometer reading
dateNeeded - populates a date field in MSA
serviceRequired - its a task selector, so adding MSA tasks into this selector will add the selected task into the estimate automatically
shippingType - its a task selector, so adding MSA tasks into this selector will add the selected task into the estimate automatically
