Full Beginner CIV-A/ INS Tutorial - Flight Plan
This in-depth beginner friendly video teaches you how to use and operate the CIV-A (an INS). The focus is on inputting your flightplan, but this also includes what each 'setting of the knob' does and the functions of the CIV-A, how to do direct to waypoints like in the FMSes and FMCs, and more. This is very useful if operating a bird with this navigation equipment in, on #vatsim or another online network and they ask you to do a 'direct to waypoint'.

I am sorry about the great audio variations in volume in the video. I tend to trail off when I speak and move accidentally away from the microphone, making the audio volume change significantly. I have tried my best to eliminate this, but the task is huge and quite difficult (and time consuming) and so I cannot guarantee that you won't be taken by surprise and (and you probably will) have to change your audio levels yourself. So sorry about that, I will work on that for future videos!
Please let me know if you want more tutorials like this, more about these 'old school' planes or the like. And are these tutorials just too long? (I tried my best to cut it down lol), any comment on the longevity and stlyes of tutorials you want? Please recommend tutorials and what you want to see! Thanks for all the much appreciated feedback!
