🚌 Getting Here:
Easily reachable by public transport, take bus 846 from the Berchtesgaden railway station to Hintersee Lake. From there, the adventure begins!
🌲 Highlights:
Hintersee Lake: A serene walk around this beautiful lake is a must. It's a peaceful escape from the busier tourist spots.
Tranquil Spots: Plenty of benches invite you to sit back and soak in the powerful, calming nature.
No Cars Allowed: Enjoy the pristine environment with no car traffic. Paid parking is available outside the park.
National Park Visit Center: Visit the local museum to learn about the park’s diverse flora and fauna.
Eagle Observation Point: While eagle sightings can depend on the season, this spot offers a chance to see them in their natural habitat.
Seasonal Accessibility: Some trails are closed in winter, but during warmer months, a bus service can take you further into the park.
Red Deer Winter Enclosure: Known locally as Rotwild Wintergehege, I had the pleasure of spotting a group of elusive deer here.
