Brass Over Bridges Intro to Composition Workshop at Alameda High School!
We loved working with the students at Alameda High School.
This presentation consisted of a quintet performance by Brass Over Bridges and intro to composition workshop led by BOB and composer Julie Barwick.
Students played a cell-based piece (much like Terry Riley's "in C"), and then made up their own versions of the musical cells. They did a great job and we had lots of fun.
