In this video I'll show you how to crochet a pair of extra-large slippers. These slippers will fit a size 13 foot! These slippers will make an excellent gift for Father's Day or Christmas! They work up super quick and make a perfect last minute gift.

This is a super simple patter that uses only one stitch - a single crochet. I'm using Bernat's Plush Yarn and a size N (10mm) crochet hook. You can substitute another yarn, but you'll have to make adjustments with the stitch count and hook size. You'll start the slipper with a Magic Ring, or you can chain two and place your first eight single crochets into the second chain from your hook. From there, you'll crochet in the round for the slipper. It's easiest to use a stitch marker to help keep count of your rounds. Here's the pattern:

Round 1: Make a Magic Ring and crochet eight single crochets.
Round 2: Increase round - place two single crochets into each single crochet (16 total)
Round 3: Increase round - place two single crochets into the next stitch, then one into the next.
Repeat to make 24 stitches.
Round 4 - 17: Place one single crochet into each stitch
Round 18: Place one single crochet into each stitch. At the end of the round chain one and turn.
Round 19: Single crochet into the next 18 stitches. Chain one and turn.
Round 20-27: Repeat row 19.
Row 28: Single crochet times 9. Chain one.
Fold the back of the slipper so that the inside is facing out. Slip stitch the ends together, going through the front and back loops of both layers.
Single crochet around the edge of the slipper.
