DESIGN DETAILS
This Matlab design is based on Genetic Algorithm based PI type controller to solve the load frequency control (LFC) problem for multi-area power system consisting of PV, wind, thermal and battery units. This strategy leads to a flexible controller with simple structure that is easy to implement, and therefore, it can be useful for the real-world power systems. Genetic Algorithm is employed under such scenario to find the optimal gain value of PI to find the integral of time multiplied absolute error using Matlab 2022a version.
