Oil and Gas Regulations Town Hall / March 27, 2024
The City of Loveland is in the process of reviewing and updating its oil and gas regulations, and City Council directed staff to gather public input that will be used to develop a draft ordinance for City of Loveland Oil and Gas regulations.
The goal of this Oil and Gas Town Hall was to collect feedback that will inform updated regulations for City Council’s consideration and included the following:
A staff presentation about the city’s role in oil and gas
Geological factors impacting development and current activity
Current regulations and proposed updates to City regulations
