This time-lapse footage captures the full extent of Winter Storm Nemo as it sweeps through Fraunhofer CSE's Building Technology Showcase (BTS) construction site in South Boston.
The Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE) is an applied research and development laboratory that provides R&D and related services for industry and government clients for building efficiency and technology, distributed electrical energy systems, and solar energy. CSE also supports early-stage cleantech companies through its TechBridge program.
The Building Technology Showcase is an energy-efficient retrofit of a 100-year-old building in Boston's Innovation District, featuring state of the art HVAC, lighting, insulation, windows, and building management systems. The building, which will serve as CSE's headquarters in Massachusetts, is scheduled to open later this year.
