PCA 2022 - Martinez Cigars (NYC)
Mr. David Rivera of Martinez Cigars in NYC launches "Riki Taki" at this year's Premium Cigar Association trade show and convention, which took place July 8th - 12th, 2022 is Las Vegas, NV.
The new "Riki Taki" is part of what Martinez Cigars calls 'Bodega Series'. The word 'Bodega' is a Spanish term for a small , owner operated grocery stores that specializes in latin products. "Riki Taki" is a street-food sandwich that is s staple item at these bodegas. The sandwich starts with the sliced pan de agua roll, a layer of ground beef, then some cabbage, a little bit of pickled onion, sliced tomatoes seasoned with sea salt, ketchup and mayo, and finally two halves of a boiled egg. Then the sandwich is put on a hot press for a few minutes.
Martinez Cigars is the oldest tobacco factory in New York State, and this is their first time exhibiting at Premium Cigar Association trade show and convention. We hope you enjoy this video as Mr. Rivera shares his passion for tobacco at #PCA2022.
