Tim Dillon went from relative obscurity just a few years ago, to being featured as a guest on some of the most popular podcasts in the world like The Joe Rogan Experience, Impaulsive, and the H3 Podcast. But how did Tim Dillon get so popular? What is it about the Tim Dillon Show that listeners love so much?
The Tim Dillon Show, formerly known as Tim Dillon is Going to Hell, is a comedy podcast hosted by stand-up comedian Tim Dillon. Early episodes of the show were co-hosted by Ray Kump, and the show premiered as part of the Gas Digital Network. After a few years, Tim Dillon parted ways with Gas Digital and Ray Kump, and launched a Patreon page for the Tim Dillon Show. Before long, The Tim Dillon Show was earning over $200,000 each month in donations from more than 40,000 patrons. This was also around the time that Tim Dillon brought on Ben Avery as producer.
Note: Some portion of Tim Dillon’s fan base have turned against him in recent weeks. The general vibe shift was kicked off by the departure of Ben Avery, and was exacerbated by recent allegations that Tim Dillon has submitted copyright claims on some smaller youtubers’ channels.
