NOTES: I met Gary Hannan (the co-writer of this song) about a year and half ago. We were friends who said hello out and about but didn't really become buds until a few months ago. I was familiar with his work ("Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" and "Back When I knew It All" to name a couple) but we had never written.
About 6 weeks ago we got together to hang and decided to write. I can tell you as a songwriter that it's hard to know who did what in the writing process if you weren't in the room. And I'm never a bean counter when it comes to who did what, but I will tell you that Gary is a superstar writer who pulls more than his share.
