How to Turn Your Smartphone into a Teleprompter
Did you know that you can use your iPhone/Android phone as a teleprompter? I love my Glide Gear TMP500 (AD: https://amzn.to/2Zf3zZE), but if you're just using a smartphone (not a DSLR or external webcam), there's an app you can use to turn it into a teleprompter and at the same time, record your video.
In the past, teleprompter apps on a smartphone were set up in a way that you could almost always see your eyes move. But that's no longer the case.
My favorite teleprompter app is PromptSmart (https://promptsmart.com), and I love it because of VoiceTrack. This feature allows the app to track what you're saying as you're reading the teleprompter, so it runs according to your pace.
How to setup PromptSmart:
1. Enter the app.
2. Go to the bottom of the script and tap the cog
3. Turn on video recording and selfie mode
4. Adjust the Side Margin Position to whatever works for you
5. Hit the play button to record.
