In this video, Pardha Mantravadi from Texavi brings to light the CCPOLDAT technique used in assessing the effectiveness of implementation of strategy. The tool is a part of the Catalyst methodology created by CSC. It helps in addressing question "What is the impact of strategy implementation across the business and systems areas?". This technique provides a view of these impacts from a short to medium term timeline.
The CCPOLDAT technique refers to the dimensions of Customer, Channel, [Business] Process, Organisation, Location, Data, Applications and Technology. Much like the McKinsey's 7S model, this is also a very effective technique to understand the dependencies of the components within the enterprise when they intend to implement a strategy. CCPOLDAT offers them the toolkit to assess the impact on any of these areas, when one area has a significant change or new process implemented by the enterprise.
