In this video from TEXAVI, Pardha Mantravadi speaks about the internal and external sources for change and how the agile methodologies help in responding to and managing these changes. Change comes in different shapes, forms and levels. Some of the sources internal to the organisation and some could be outside its realm and remit. The internal sources for the changes could be moving of the stakeholders, shift of the goals and objectives and strategic direction. External forces and sources of changes include the PESTLE factors i.e., changes in political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, legal and environmental to name a few of them. Agile development methodologies such as Scrum, XP, SAFe, Lean etc help in preparing the organisations, processes, technologies and people to better prepare for, respond to and manage the changes.
