Restyling Old Lookbooks 📸
Today I'm revisiting and updating some lookbook YouTube videos from 2014 to 2018! I recreated and adapted outfits from AlishaMarie, MyLifeAsEva, Carrie Dayton, Bethany Mota, and Sierra Schultzzie. Using the lookbook videos as Inso, I tried to design on-trend outfits for today! During this peak era of YouTube, I was obsessed with fashion and beauty influencers and I absolutely took fashion advice from lookbook videos. These short aesthetic videos of outfit ideas set to music were all over YouTube, but I don't see them in the same way anymore. So I thought it would be fun to go back in time and look at some popular, famous, and nostalgic YouTubers and see their lookbooks from the past!
I wanted to see if I could remake these look book outfits, and even make some changes so they are trendy and fashionable for today. I dressed like five YouTubers that I used to (and still do) love! A lot has changed on YouTube and in fashion, but plenty is still the same. Who were your favorite YouTubers in 2018?
