PathPilot is arguably considered one of the easiest, powerful, and full featured CNC control interfaces in the industry. Once glancing at the interface, most everyone can start using it right away, but it's good to know the basic layout of the GUI. Jeremiah walks through each section, what it's used for and explains it's importance.
The controls along the bottom are mostly consistent as you use PathPilot, therefore they are call the Persistent Controls. This area consists of: Program Controls (Cycle Start, Feeds and Speeds Sliders), Position Details (X, Y, Z, A Coordinates, Distance to Go, G-Code Status), Manual Control Group (Spindle Control, Jogging and Step Control, Step Control).
The top half of the screen is called the Notebook with multiple tabs to jump into the various sections on the mill: Main, File, Settings, Offsets, Conversational, ATC, Probe/ETS and Status. The Main group needs to be open when running a program.
